In my opinion, pure Python or programming certificates are not that big of a deal. Because if you can use a programming language to build applications, whether it be data science, web dev or general apps, that only means that you know how to code using whichever programming language you're using.

That being said, the Python Institute does offer certificates that measure your proficiency in using Python.
